EE Podcast

For the very last time this year, a new episode of the ExpressionEngine Podcast is available for your listening pleasure!

In episode 59, we look back on the past year and discuss the news and events that affected our EE community. Lea and I also pick our favorite add-ons for the year, as well as our favorite episodes since our re-launch this summer.

Episode #59

For our 2011 Year in Review, Lea and I start with January and progress through the year, discussing notable news and events. The most prevalent theme was EllisLab's (and, by extension, ExpressionEngine's) growth in 2011. There were many new hires, some internal reorganization, and tons of changes in how EllisLab communicated and shared with the community. We also talked about key EE events this year — EEUK, CICON, EECI — and the podcast re-launch in June.

After recapping the year, Lea and I talked favorites. We picked our top add-ons, as well as our most loved podcast episodes. Then we mentioned some of our favorite geeky gifts for last-minute holiday shoppers.

Have a listen yourself.

Tune in Next Year!

Lea and I are taking a very short break for the holidays, but we'll be back on January 12, 2012! For episode 60, we'll be talking about our first EE web sites. We'll also talk to other members of the EE community about their first ExpressionEngine projects.

Be sure to check out the rest of schedule for 2012! We've got great topics lined up.

And be sure you don't miss an episode:

Emily Lewis

Yeah, that would be me: .

I'm a freelance web designer of the standardista variety, which means I get excited about things like valid POSH, microformats and accessibility. I ply my trade from my one-person design studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106 USA.

A Blog Not Limited is my personal blog where I pontificate about web design, web standards, semantics and whatever else strikes my fancy. Head on over to Emily Lewis Design if you'd like to see my work or, even better, hire me.
