For our 2011 Year in Review, Lea and I start with January and progress through the year, discussing notable news and events. The most prevalent theme was EllisLab's (and, by extension, ExpressionEngine's) growth in 2011. There were many new hires, some internal reorganization, and tons of changes in how EllisLab communicated and shared with the community. We also talked about key EE events this year — EEUK, CICON, EECI — and the podcast re-launch in June.
After recapping the year, Lea and I talked favorites. We picked our top add-ons, as well as our most loved podcast episodes. Then we mentioned some of our favorite geeky gifts for last-minute holiday shoppers.
