I decided to give Feedburner a try a week or so ago. Why? Curiosity.

I want to know how many folks subscribe to my blog. I definitely know there are four (thanks to my mom, my sister, my boss and my best friend), but perhaps there are more. Oh shit, I just rhymed. I'm a poet and didn't know it. Okay, enough.

Today my friend Jason Beaird posted that he, too, had moved his feeds to feedburner, and he bothered to tell folks.

Doh!

So now I'm doing the same (I'm always late to the party).

New Feeds

If you are one of those four (or more?) folks already subscribed to A Blog Not Limited, you should update the URL in your feed reader. Here are the new feeds:

I recently moved away from Feedburner. I’ve used it for a while, but it seemed to take much longer for them to update than just serving the feeds myself.

It does offer a lot of neat features though and I do recommend it to a number of our clients, but I didn’t feel like it was right for me.

One thing I might suggest is try pointing your original feed address to the new Feedburner links… That way people who were subscribed to the old address wouldn’t have to update their feedreaders, and if you ever decide to leave Feedburner, you won’t have to ask them to update again!
