Amazon: Microformats Made Simple

It has been just over two months since my book Microformats Made Simple went on sale, and I am now calling on the folks who have purchased or received a gratis copy. I need Amazon reviews!

I'm not going to beg and plead for good words about my book. I'm not going to tell you what to say. I just want to know what you think.

Whether it is good, bad or indifferent, please add your two cents to the Microformats Made Simple page on Amazon. Honest reviews will help me know if I was successful in my endeavor and will let other folks know whether the book is right for them.

If you've never written an Amazon review, just go to the Microformats Made Simple page and scroll down until you see the "Customer Reviews" heading. To the right is a button to "Create your own review." Select that and you are on your way.

And while you're on the page, there are a few more things you can do to help me and my book:

  • Read the "Customer Reviews" that are already on the page and indicate whether they were helpful to you by selecting the "Yes" or "No" buttons that appear after each review. This will help ensure that useful reviews have greater visibility.
  • Take a look at "Tags Customers Associate with This Product." Select the checkboxes for those tags you feel are most relevant and add your own if you see something is missing. This will help people who are looking for certain topics find my book more easily.
  • If you don't have the time for a review, then take a quick second to "Rate This Item to Improve Your Recommendations." Select the checkbox indicating that you own it, and then assign it a rating out of five stars. And this step not only helps my book, it helps Amazon recommend items to you.

Since it is the season of giving, please help a sista out!
